Our standard color blend chart is shown below. Can it be applied on my deck AND driveway? The beauty of this product is that it can be applied over virtually any surface including concrete, asphalt or even wood. How thick will it be when it is finished? Rubber Rock floor coatings can be applied at a range of thickness options from one half inch to an inch or more. How soon can I walkon it's surface? Depending on temperature and humidity you can resume your normal routine in 24 hours in most cases. We recomend 48-72 hours curing time before moving heavy objects onto the surface. Will it be slippery when wet? No, rubber rock flooring is a great option for pool decks and areas where slip and fall accidents can occur. Rubber rock coatings are cooler to the touch than hard surfaces and provide a comfortable surface for walking, kneeling and playing. Will the color fade or change over time? Almost all colors when used in an exterior environment will fade under the suns UV rays. These rubber rock granules have superior UV stability for long term dependability. Depending on the polyurethane binder that is used an ambering of the binder may occur depending on sun exposure. If colorfast purity is important to you be sure to request the upgraded "Aliphatic Polyurethane Binder". Will the water puddle on it's surface when it rains? This system is designed to allow water to filter through the surace to the sub-base below and whateverdirection the sub-base is sloped, the water will drain in that direction. How do I clean my new rubber rock floor? Indoors you can vaccuum or damp mop the surface. Outdoors you may hose it down with a garden hose or blow it off with a leaf blower. Where a detergent is necessary always use a mild, non-abrasive detergent similar to dish soap. We do not recommend pressure washing. What happens if part of the surface becomes damaged? Rubber rock flooring is very resilient, providing you with a surface that has strength and durability. However if the surface does becomedamaged a certified installer can cut and remove the damaged area and repour and trowel the rubber and urethane binder to make the needed repairs. We recommend using a creative shape or graphic on repair areas to make the repair less noticeable when dye lots do not match.
