Do your floors pass ADA Compliance? Have you been threatened with a lawsuit? Are your employees less productive because of hazards in the workplace?
A common problem with the food industry is that so often ceramic tile is installed in the kitchen and serving areas only to find out that it is nearly impossible to stand on once it begins to get soiled. Grease and contaminants get caught in the tiny microscopic holes in the tiles and they become an accident waiting to happen. This is also a common problem for industrial areas where grease and oil from machinery frequently find their way to the walkways and production areas.
We invite you to call and arrange for one of our trained flooring specialist to come and perform a surface inspection of your flooring for slip, trip and fall hazards. In addition to this surface inspection we will apply the industries most advanced technology by testing the static co-friction levels with our English XL Tribometer which is specially designed for accurate surface testing.

Included with our inspection you will receive a confidential report of the results including actual co-friction numbers needed to prove your compliance.

At Slip Free Systems we are always concerned about safety. Using our English XL Tribometer we are able to measure the slip resistance of your existing floors and your new slip free floor after installation so you can rest assured that your new slip free floor meets OSHA and ADA standards.

Arrange a consultation with our Slip Fall Expert Witness to identify hazards before they become a lawsuit.

CAUTION: When inquiring or ordering a new flooring systems be sure to specify what conditions are typical to the floor and how anti slip it needs to be under those conditions.

At Slip Free Systems we predominantly use an aluminum oxide additive to add texture and profile to the floor. This aggregate comes in grits, similar to that of sandpaper, the higher the grip the smoother the surface, the lower the grit, a rougher texture is achieved.

Business Owners-Ask these questions:

Did the hazardous condition or obstacle exist long enough that a reasonable property owner or employee could have taken action to eliminate the hazard?

Did the property owner or employee have a policy of routinely checking for potential hazards on the property, and if so, is there some sort of log or other record of whether the procedure was followed immediately before the accident?

Was there a reasonable justification for the creation of the potential hazard? And if so, did this justification still exist at the time of the slip or fall?

Could the hazardous condition have been made less dangerous through preventive measures such as relocating the hazard, placing adequate warning signage in the area, or preventing access to the location?

Was poor lighting or limited visibility a factor in causing the slip and fall?
