Company Background and Information

Slip Free Systems, Inc was founded in 1988 and is still Managed by the original Management Team. Our President, Mark Nelson has a bachelor’s in business management having graduated from University of Houston. Mark has 40+ years’ experience in the floor coating industry. Our designer is also an art graduate and has extensive background working on construction related projects for commercial use. All of our staff, including office personnel, management and operations crews have been highly trained for the products we use and the systems we install. Our installers attend training classes every year so that we are always on top of the industry changes and new developments.

Slip Free Systems began as a provider of safety solutions to render slippery floors “Slip Free”. Our first major contract in 1988 was with Whataburger to treat their slippery tile floors for optimal customer & employee experience. As new trends developed in the industrial flooring industry, Slip Free Systems began to grow with the market demand. Now, thirty years later we offer a full line of products and services for industrial, commercial and residential use.

Staff

Our staff, including office personnel, and field personnel are all selected for their professional experience and ability to maintain the highest customer satisfaction. We look for candidates who have an eye for detail and an eagerness to stay on top of developing trends and techniques. We select unique individuals who not only work well together but also independently. We aim for employees with a high caliber of work ethic and personal achievement.

Don’t bother with the BBB, historically they were great for weeding out a bad company from a good one but we have learned they always side with the money. If a company is up to date on their dues, they will offer a complaining customer arbitration, but they will side with the company in question as long as their dues are current. We do not recommend the BBB as a reliable source for reviews, check with yelp or google for real person accounts.

Experience?
We recommend that you hire a contractor with a minimum of 15 years experience to ensure they know exactly what they are doing. Slip Free Systems has been in business since 1988, that’s nearly 40 years. The industry is always changing and improving, you can count on Slip Free and our many years of experience.

Manufacturer Certification?
Slip Free Systems attends training every year at the world of Concrete as well as annual training from our providers. If you are shopping for an installer and they are not at least certified with 2-4 epoxy manufacturer’s that’s a red flag.

Material brand?
What brand material are they using? We are certified installers of the nations top 10 products and have a great relationship with their representatives.

Warranty?
We offer a written warranty on all of our work and it comes with a second warranty from the manufacturer.

Insurance?
Slip Free Systems is fully insured up to a million dollars for liability and workers comp, and this covers issues for you as well as us.
