Here at Slip Free Systems we eat, drink, sleep and breathe all that is epoxy. We like to stay on top of whats hot and whats not. This year is shaping up to be a grand display of new innovation on the epoxy home front.

2018’s Top Picks:

  1. Marbled Metallics: Out with your concrete stains and and ceramic tile floors and in with the organic and fluid look of marbled metallics. They come in an array of colors to match any decor and provide a unique look for any home or venue.
  2. Wood Chip: Never look in the face of a buckled wood floor again, the epoxy industry has created the perfect wood product to rival all that have come before. This is actual wood chips encased in an epoxy finish for a rich appeal to complement any upscale look that never needs to be waxed like traditional wood floors. Choose oak, walnut, pine or others in an array of colors.
  3. Magnificent Mica: Look out Hollywood, here comes the razzle dazzle of mica. Mica is taking the flooring industry by storm with its subtle shimmering appeal.  In shades of bronze, onyx, copper, silver and gold. Mica flakes make resinous flooring glisten with
natural crystalline beauty. These unique metallic flakes are derived from a group of sheet silicate minerals, including muscovite and phlogopite, which have highly perfect basil cleavage. Through a calcination manufacturing process, the distinctive hexagonal atom arrangement of the mica minerals is separated into sheet-like pieces and broken down into standardized flake sizes. These unique flakes provide a natural metallic luster to resinous flooring systems that cannot be achieved with other engineered materials.
